Principal Investigator, “Alternative Projections: Experimental Film in LA 1945-80,” Getty Foundation Exhibition Publication Support Grant ($65,000), part of the initiative Pacific Standard Time: Art in LA 1945-1980, January 2010. To support the preservation of 10 films in conjunction with the Academy Film Archive and the development of a multi-media website publication.

Principal Investigator, “Alternative Projections: Experimental Film in LA 1945-80,” Getty Foundation Research and Planning Grant ($117,000), part of the initiative Pacific Standard Time: Art in LA 1945-1980, April 2009. To support historical and archival research, oral histories, and planning towards a screening series/exhibition.
